Local botanicals

Many of the herbs and flowers we use are grown on our micro-farm in the heart of Gower.

From lavender, comfrey and marshmallow to calendula, chamomile, nettle, cleavers, selfheal and elderflower. Think of the wonderful aromas of rose, wild mint and meadowsweet. We may not be totally self-sufficient with them all yet, but we are working on it – and we source our other natural ingredients locally where we can, including organic Welsh sea salt.

Traditional methods

Traditional methods

We use traditional cold-process methods and have perfected our tried and tested recipes to make sure there’s just the right amount of coconut oil left following saponification (the soap-making process) to moisturise and keep skin supple.

Each bar is individually cut and then cured for a minimum four to six weeks, before being hand wrapped in our recyclable paper. In line with our traditional handcrafting process the natural ingredients we use are biodegradable, where possible sourced locally and/or responsibly. Plus our ingredients are skin loving and environmentally friendly.

About us

Naturally vegan

All of our soaps are handcrafted from start to finish – using only the finest raw ingredients so that we know what goes into each bar. We take great care in growing, harvesting, sourcing ingredients and in the making and producing the products you buy.

We use single-source, organic, extra virgin coconut oil, which is known for its moisturising properties. We then add carefully selected botanicals, Kaolin clays and essential oils – each complementing and bringing their own special qualities. And to put the cherry on the top, our soaps are naturally antimicrobial.

Plastic-free packaging

Plastic-free packaging

We’ve designed our soaps to use eco-friendly paper packaging which you can recycle. We use eco-friendly vegetable inks in the printing of wrappers and bands. We use solvent-free and biodegradable glue – and our sticky dots are made from biodegradable and compostable cellulose.

Our postal packaging is either recycled or sustainably sourced, and can either be recycled, re-purposed or composted. And we only use sticky paper tapes which are again recyclable and compostable.
